About EchoBlue
EchoBlue is operated by a dedicated team of professionals that take a keen interest in all things IT. The person you speak to is the person who does the work — and who looks after it afterwards.

Marcus has been developing software professionally since 2015, working his way up from junior to senior developer. He builds web applications with Angular and TypeScript, and designs and runs the cloud services behind them on Amazon Web Services. Before moving into software, he spent more than three years as a network technician at the German International School Cape Town, trained in network administration (MCITP). He also served for over six years as a volunteer paramedic with Hout Bay Volunteer EMS, including on its executive committee — experience that shows in his calm, methodical approach when things go wrong.

Sven manages projects and client accounts, guiding customers through onboarding and system integration with a focus on smooth, efficient processes. Before that, he spent several years in communication at the University of Cape Town and its Marine Research Institute, running websites and social media, writing press releases, producing design work and organising international conferences. He holds a Master's in Social Anthropology from UCT, which shapes how he approaches every project: thinking in systems, and paying close attention to how people use products and services, and how they work with each other.
